This course explores the dynamics of terrorism, insurgency, and counterinsurgency operations within the African context, with a particular focus on intelligence gathering, analysis, and application in preventing, mitigating and responding to security threats. Through a blend of case studies, practical exercises, and theoretical frameworks, the course provides participants with the tools to critically assess threats and develop actionable intelligence for decision making.
